After graduation from law school, Mr. Spence served a clerkship with Hon. Elbert P. Tuttle, then a senior judge of the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, in 1972. From 1975-1980, he was an Assistant General Counsel of the State Bar of Georgia. Since 1980, he has engaged in the private practice of law in the metropolitan Atlanta area.
